Cpl. Kenneth D. Hess, 26, served as infantryman and was killed April 11, 2006, suicide bombing attack while on duty in Rahwah, Iraq.
Hess, a native of Asheville, N.C., was assigned to the 4th Squadron, 14th Cavalry Regiment, 172nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team based at Fort Wainwright.
