Sgt. Shawn G. Adams, 21, died on July 22, 2007, from wounds suffered from a roadside bomb in Owaset, Iraq.
Adams, a native of Dixon, Calif., served with the 3rd Battalion, 509th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division based at Fort Richardson.
