Airman 1st Class Carl Anderson, 21, was killed on Aug. 29, 2004, when his convoy was hit by an improvised explosive device near Balad, Iraq.
Anderson, a native of Georgetown, S.C., served with the 3rd Logistics Readiness Squadron, 3rd Wing based at Elmendorf Air Force Base.
