Spc. Patrick W. Herried, 29, was killed on Feb 6. 2006, when a bomb detonated next to his Stryker vehicle near Rawah.
Herried, a native of Sioux Falls, S.D., served with the 4th Squadron, 14th Cavalry Regiment of the 172nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team based at Fort Wainwright.
