ANCHORAGE, Alaska -- Over the weekend, Gov. Sarah Palin's communications director said he did not know Palin's whereabouts.

But that information was available from social networking sites.

In her latest entry on her Twitter page, Palin said she was anxious to join her husband in Bristol Bay where he is commercial fishing.

Over the holiday weekend she provided frequent updates to her supporters.

In one of her Tweets, Palin said she and her family watched the Fourth of July parade in downtown Juneau on Saturday.

She also announced plans to travel to Kotzebue this week to sign a bill that would allow more organizations to take part in the Village Public Safety Officer Program.

Officials in Kotzebue say the trip is planned for Tuesday.

On her Facebook page, Palin dropped hints that she might run for national office, and wrote about having a "higher calling" to unite the nation along conservative lines.
