ANCHORAGE, Alaska -- Searchers have found the body of a missing Naknek man. State troopers say 75-year-old Wilbur "Arch" Willson apparently drowned in the Naknek River.
Willson's wife says he left for a hunting trip to a cabin 13 miles up Big Creek on Sunday afternoon. She reported him missing the night after he failed to call in.
Troopers found his car parked near the Naknek River on and followed ATV tracks leading to the ice. There, they discovered a hole in the ice. On Wednesday, a helicopter spotted the body underwater in the river.
