ANCHORAGE, Alaska — The father of two Alaskans injured in Haiti says his kids are bouncing back.

Christa and Julian Brelsford were injured during the earthquake more than two weeks ago, but Taylor Brelsford says Julian is back at work in Philadelphia helping the relief efforts.

Christa's injuries were more severe, and she lost the bottom part of her leg. But her father says she had her final surgery last week, and she's making big strides.

"Her boyfriend said she's flying around on crutches as of Monday, and we're hopeful that she'll be released to return to Phoenix, Ariz. Monday."

Christa Brelsford is still currently in the hospital in Miami.
