ANCHORAGE, Alaska -- An Anchorage jury on Monday found Danielle Jennett not guilty of all five counts for her role in a 2008 fatal accident on the Seward Highway near Bird Creek.

On the night of July 14, 2008, Jennett's northbound sedan drifted over the double-yellow line and hit a pick-up truck head on.

The crash killed the driver of the pick-up, Jeffrey McClure, of Seward, at the scene. Jennett's passenger, Riley McVitty, initially survived the crash but later died at the hospital.

People who witnessed the crash said Jennett may have been speeding, but was not driving recklessly prior to the crash.

Her blood-alcohol content was less than .025, well below the legal limit, and she was not charged with DUI.
