ANCHORAGE, Alaska -- Another game, another blowout for Team USA.
Jenny Potter's hat trick and a five-point afternoon from Natalie Darwitz propelled the Americans to a 13-0 rout of Russia in women's ice hockey. Team USA thumped China 12-1 in its opener.
Palmer's Kerry Weiland logged 18 minutes, 19 seconds of ice time and had a minor penalty.
Darwitz had a goal and three assists. Potter added an assist for a four-point effort. Hilary Knight furnished four helpers and Kelli Stack had a goal and three assists.
Team USA faces Finland on Thursday in its final preliminary round game.
