ANCHORAGE, Alaska -- State Revenue Department officials are reminding Alaskans that time is running out to apply for Alaska Permanent Fund Dividends.
The deadline is March 31.
PFD Operations Manager Dan DeBartolo says Alaskans can apply online and receive immediate confirmation that their applications were completed.
As of Thursday, nearly 467,000 Alaskans had applied online.
Public computers are available at PFD offices in Anchorage, Fairbanks and Juneau, where staff members can assist applicants.
Paper applications are available at distribution sites. Applicants can find a distribution site by calling a division office.
Since 1982, the state has paid out $17.5 billion in dividends from fund profits. Last year's payout was $1,305.
