by Channel 2 News staff Wednesday, March 24, 2010 ANCHORAGE, Alaska -- The Alaska Aces scored a crucial road victory Wednesday night, rallying to defeat the Ontario Reign 6-3 at Citizens Business Bank Arena. Alaska maintained its hold on third place in the ECHL's National Conference and pulled to within a point of second-place Bakersfield. Scott Reid finished with 26 saves in net for Alaska, which continues its series with the Reign on Friday and Saturday before returning home to close out the regular season with four games at Sullivan Arena. The National Conference standings are as follows:

- Alaska 72 points, 6 games remaining
- Victoria 70 points, 5 games remaining
- Utah 70 points, 5 games remaining
- Stockton 69 points, 7 games remaining
