ANCHORAGE, Alaska -- A magnitude 4.6 earthquake rattled southcentral Alaska on Wednesday morning, shaking buildings in Anchorage, plus Palmer and other parts of the Matanuska-Susitna Borough.
The Alaska Earthquake Information Center says it received no reports of the quake causing damage.
The quake was recorded at 8:19 a.m.
The epicenter was 35 miles northeast of Anchorage and 20 miles northwest of Palmer. The earthquake information center says the quake was 19 miles deep.
The West Coast and Alaska Tsunami Warning Center says the quake did not generate a tsunami.
