KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- A jury has been seated in Tennessee in the trial of a former college student charged with hacking Sarah Palin's e-mail account.
Prosecutors haven't said when Palin will take the stand to testify against 22-year-old David Kernell.
But when she does, defense lawyers are afraid some of the jurors in the heavily-Republican area will be dazzled by her star power.
Kernell was a University of Tennessee student when prosecutors say he hacked into the Yahoo! account Palin sometimes used for state business. At the time she was Alaska's governor and the GOP candidate for vice president.
His father is a Democrat who has served in the Tennessee House since 1974. He has not been linked to the case.
