ANCHORAGE, Alaska -- One of the busiest intersections in Anchorage will be shut down for the weekend Friday night.
The intersection of Lake Otis Parkway and Tudor Road will be closed for construction starting at 8 p.m. Friday. It will remain closed throughout the weekend, and will reopen Monday morning at 6 a.m.
State officials say the summer construction project will improve traffic flow through Lake Otis and Tudor. The state also plans to close the intersection next weekend for additional work.
