ANCHORAGE, Alaska -- An Anchorage man will spend almost 29 years in jail for firing on two brothers outside the Dimond Center mall in January of 2008.

At a change of plea last November, Jason Rak admitted to shooting at Michael and Matthew Lewis during an argument. The shots hit Michael Lewis and innocent bystander Mason Sylvester.

Rak pleaded guilty to two counts of attempted murder in the first degree, first degree assault and weapons misconduct.

Anchorage Superior Court Judge Michael Spaan gave Rak a sentence of 39 years with 10 suspended, and credit for time served.
