ANCHORAGE, Alaska -- A woman charged with assault for starting a bar fight in March of last year wants to withdraw her guilty plea.

Witnesses say Nayade Perez stabbed a man with a broken beer bottle at Club Soraya, while the man she was with, Peter Hernandez, stabbed him in the stomach with a knife.

Hernandez asked the judge to be sentenced today, but the prosecution argued the pair entered into a plea agreement together so if Perez withdraws they should both go to trial.

The judge is taking the matter under advisement.
