ANCHORAGE, Alaska — If you have ideas for an upcoming “Brassieres to Nowhere” exhibit, officials at the Dorothy Page Museum in Wasilla want to hear from you.
The museum will be hosting the unique art exhibit in October, which is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Artists of all ages are being asked to submit works with a bra-inspired theme.
Categories include mixed-media, painting, photography, prints and sculptures. Entries will be judged, and non-cash awards will be given out in each category.
Artwork is due on Sept. 17 and 18, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. There is a $10 entry fee.
For more information, you can visit the museum's website or call the museum at (907)373-9071.
After the exhibit ends on Oct. 29, artists are encouraged to donate their work for an auction to benefit a local breast cancer support group.
