ANCHORAGE, Alaska — “Walking with Dinosaurs: The Arena Spectacular” opened Thursday at the Sullivan Arena.
The show features 16 dinosaurs of all sizes, a dramatic lighting display and a story that takes the audience on a journey through 165 million years of time.
Organizers say putting a show this big on the road takes a number of semi trucks, and a traveling company of about 75 people.
“This tour is actually getting ready to close, so we're in our last four weeks of tour -- and it’s the first and last chance you'll be able to see ‘Walking with Dinosaurs’ in Alaska, and we are thrilled to be here,” said associate tour manager Nellie Beavers.
