ANCHORAGE, Alaska — Some big personnel changes are taking place at the Calista Corp. after allegations of sexual harassment by its president and CEO, Matthew Nicolai.
According to company spokesperson Lincoln Garrick, Nicolai is facing a lawsuit from Emily Davenport, the president of Calista subsidiary Solstice Advertising.
In the lawsuit, Davenport claims to have experienced sexual and other types of workplace harassment. She cites stalking-type behavior after she ended an intimate relationship with Nicolai.
Garrick says that while the allegations have not been proven, Nicolai has been placed on leave until the case is resolved. On Monday, Calista’s board of directors appointed Andrew Guy as acting president and CEO.
Nicolai was not available for comment.
