ANCHORAGE, Alaska — With all the Cook Inlet Conference football action taking place on Saturday, the Friday night spotlight in Week 6 goes to the Railbelt. Colony deserves some acclaim after turning an 0 and 2 start into three straight wins.
The 1st-place Knights visited the Wasilla Warriors, who are 1 and 2 in conference.
Tied at 7 in the opening series of the third quarter, Wasilla’s A.J. Marshall threw on the move to Braydon Kuiper to put Wasilla ahead 13-7.
Colony had to make do without quarterback Anthony Bricker, who broke his collarbone during the game. The Knights' Skye Rench scampered in for a touchdown, but the point after touchdown was no good and Colony put themselves down by 1.
Wrench would score again in the fourth quarter, however, giving the Knights a tight 20-17 win.
