ANCHORAGE, Alaska — The University of Alaska Anchorage cross-country team lead by Marko Cheseto and Ruth Keino picked up wins for both the men's and women's team Saturday at the BYU-Hawaii Invitational. Cheseto and Keino were each individual winners as well.
The Seawolves men are ranked 16th in the Division II national poll, while the women are ranked 3rd -- and also top Division I Hawaii along with host BYU.
The team will have two weekends off before competing at the Willamette Invite in Salem, Ore. on Oct. 2.
