ANCHORAGE, Alaska — The man accused of shooting and killing two Hoonah police officers was arraigned Monday in Juneau.
45-year-old John Marvin, Jr. appeared before the Superior Court and has been charged with two counts of first degree murder and two counts of weapons misconduct.
Police say Marvin killed officers Matthew Tokuoka and Anthony Wallace August 28 in Hoonah.
He was indicted by a Juneau grand jury last week.
Marvin’s trial is scheduled to begin December 6.
