ANCHORAGE, Alaska — An Anchorage man accused of murdering his wife appeared in court Tuesday for the first time since his arrest.

Robert Luch, 62-years-old, was formally charged with two counts of murder in the shooting death of Jocelyn Luch.

On Sept. 28 Anchorage police responded to a call from the Luch's residence in west Anchorage.

Officers say they found 40-year-old Jocelyn lying on the floor with multiple gunshot wounds.

She was rushed to a local hospital where she later passed away.

Robert was taken in by police, but lost consciousness during an interview and was hospitalized.

He was immediately arrested once released.

His bail was previously set at $750,000 cash only.
