ANCHORAGE, Alaska — A single-vehicle car crash on the Glenn Highway early Saturday morning killed one person and injured another. Anchorage police say it happened at about 4:15 a.m. between Bragaw Street and Boniface Parkway.
An APD officer spotted a car travelling outbound on the Glenn at a speed of at least 90 mph. Police say by the time the officer caught up with the car it had crashed, killing the driver and ejecting the passenger.
The passenger was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Names of the victims will be released once families have been notified.
