Eagle River spikers smash East in 3-game sweep

ANCHORAGE, Alaska — The Eagle River Wolves and the East High School T-Birds were on opposite sides of a net Thursday in the Cook Inlet Conference volleyball tournament.

Eagle River jumped out to an early lead as Megan Harvey ended the first
frame with a 25-21 tip. Her team kept the pressure on, taking both the second and third games for a three-game sweep.

Eagle River advances to play South Friday.
