Alaska State Troopers say four people were killed in a fire near Willow Tuesday morning. The state fire marshal says the victims were two adults and two children.
The fire was called in near Mile 87 of the Parks Highway at about 6 a.m.
Crews from Caswell, Willow, Talkeetna, West Lakes and Houston all responded. By the time crews could respond, the house was fully engulfed in flames.
Dennis Brodigan, the Mat-Su Emergency Services Director, says several vehicles and propane tanks complicated fighting the blaze.
There is no word yet on the cause of the fire.
