Food bank to distribute Thanksgiving food this weekend

ANCHORAGE, Alaska — The Food Bank of Alaska is helping people prepare their Thanksgiving meals. The annual Thanksgiving Blessing event is happening Saturday in the Mat-Su Valley and Monday in Anchorage.

Families in need can pick up all the trimmings to make a Thanksgiving feast. Thousands of families lined up for last year’s event.
