ANCHORAGE, Alaska — On Friday night, the Alaska Aces had to rally back from a 3-0 hole against the Utah Grizzlies to score a 5-4 overtime win, snapping the Aces’ three-game losing streak. Saturday’s game, however, was a much easier repeat performance.
The Aces didn’t even have to sweat an extra frame Saturday, putting five points on the board while shutting out Utah. Wes Goldie scored two of Alaska’s goals, bringing him up to eight this year, while goalie Gerald Coleman pitched the shutout with 31 saves.
