ANCHORAGE, Alaska — A movie shot in Southcentral Alaska is now playing on GCI cable.
“Christmas with a Capital ‘C’” was filmed entirely in Seward last winter, with only a few shots from anchorage.
The movie debuted on GCI premium channel 118 Sunday night, free of charge.
The movie stars Ted McGinley and Baldwin brother Daniel Baldwin. Dave Cuddy, the film’s executive producer, says Seward provided the best backdrop.
“The City of Seward could not have been nicer,” Cuddy said. “I mean, the merchants in the main street brought out the Christmas decorations and redecorated the street and their store fronts, so that it would appear to be December instead of February, March.”
GCI will broadcast “Christmas with a Capital ‘C’” on various dates throughout the month of December.
