Garret is a Chartered Financial Consultant designee of the American College and has 25 years of experience in financial planning. Garret maintains securities licenses as well as licenses for life, health, and disability insurance.

Garret’s operational philosophy empowers clients to make informed decisions. A special emphasis is placed on plan implementation. Garret encourages the team approach to planning and involves the services of other professionals including accountants and attorneys.
For the past five years, Garret has served as the featured financial advisor for the NBC affiliate and local station KTUU Channel 2. Garret’s segment on the Morning Edition, called Market View, covers a variety of financial planning issues.
Garret is a member and past president of the Anchorage East Rotary Club. He has also served as president for the Alaska Chapter of Financial Service Professionals and the Anchorage Estate Planning Council.
Garret earned his B.S. degree in Finance from Santa Clara University and his master’s degree in Commerce and Legal Studies from Gonzaga University.
