ANCHORAGE, Alaska — New numbers show Picking, Clicking and Giving by Alaskans is up so far, just six days into PFD applications.
Pick, Click, Give project organizers say they are already seeing double the donations, but that translates to only about 4 percent of people who applied for a PFD.
So far about 5,000 people have pledged more than $275,000.
Organizers hope Alaskans will continue to donate to their favorite charities as they apply for their PFD's online.
