East Anchorage shooting leaves one in critical condition

ANCHORAGE, Alaska — Anchorage police are investigating a shooting that occurred Wednesday in east Anchorage.

Police were called to the 2000 block of Farmer Place just before 1:00 a.m. When they arrived, police say they found 27-year-old Cole Ellingson with a gunshot wound to the head.  

Ellingson was taken to a hospital where police say he remains in critical condition.
