ANCHORAGE, Alaska — The 15th-ranked University of Alaska Anchorage women hosted 10th-ranked Western Washington University in a basketball matchup at the Wells Fargo Sports Complex Saturday night.
In the first half, the Seawolves’ Nikki Aden drove the lane with the ball, helping to put UAA up 36-35 at the half.
But out of the break the Seawolves were trailing as the Vikings pulled away, with a Kristin Schramm triple bringing the tally to a 63-47 WWU lead. The Vikings kept up the pressure, outscoring the Seawolves by 21 in the second half to win the night 81-61.
