ANCHORAGE, Alaska — The University of Alaska Anchorage women were in a basketball battle Saturday night against Montana State University-Billings at the Wells Fargo Sports Center.
In the second, Grancesca de Angelis beat the shot-clock buzzer to sink a basket past a triple team, making the score 35-30 Seawolves.
Nikki Aden was next to take the ball to the tin, increasing UAA’s lead to 37-30. Alysa Horn also helped to keep it going, leading UAA’s way with 21 baskets and seven assists.
UAA went on to win, defeating Montana 62-48.
