ANCHORAGE, Alaska — Alaska Aces rookie forward Chris Langkow continued his torrid scoring pace, but victory over the Las Vegas Wranglers wasn't secure until Gary Nunn scored 20 seconds into overtime to lift the Aces to a 4-3 victory Friday night at the Sullivan Arena.

Alaska's win means the Aces and Wranglers are tied atop the ECHL's Western Conference heading into Sunday's series finale.

Langkow, who had collected six points in his last two games, enjoyed his first hat trick as a professional. His final tally ( and 15th of the season ) gave the Aces a 3-2 lead with 8:28 left in the third period.

Trailing 3-2, the Wranglers pulled their goalie for an extra attacker. With two seconds to play, Blair Riley beat Adam Courchaine to stun the Sullivan Arena crowd and send the game to overtime, setting up Nunn's game-ending heroics.
