ANCHORAGE, Alaska — Anchorage police say an 86-year-old Samoan man who went missing Tuesday afternoon was found Wednesday evening and is safe with his family.
Siaosi Lulu Lutu's family says he went for a walk about 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Carrs grocery store near Northern Lights Boulevard and Minnesota Drive. They agreed to meet there later in the evening, but Lutu's daughter returned at about 7 p.m. and he was not present.
Lutu walks with a cane and lives in Mountain View. His family says he is sometimes forgetful, but is familiar with the People Mover bus system.
