ANCHORAGE, Alaska — Anchorage Police are searching for a woman charged with stealing approximately $2,700 of student lunch money.
Police say Dawn Lynn Reynolds was a nutrition coordinator at O’Malley Elementary School and is one of the four employees included in an April press conference held by the Anchorage School District about theft from the schools.
Detectives were alerted to possible theft in April 2011 by school district personnel.
The school district has credited 186 students with the money Reynolds allegedly stole.
She is charged with Theft 2, Scheme to Defraud, Falsifying Business Records and Criminal Use of a Computer.
Police say Reynolds is believed to be in the Anchorage area.
