Mt. Marathon Race & Seward 4th of July Celebration 

Race Start Times: Junior Race - 9:30 a.m., Women’s Race - 11:15 a.m., Men’s Race – 3:00 p.m. Monday, July 4, Seward, AK

The highlight of Seward’s July 4th Celebration weekend, Mt. Marathon Race is a mile and a half climb up and then a mile and a half scramble down! With runners and spectators from around the world and Alaska, Seward swells from a population of about 2,500 to a reported 40,000 for the July 4th weekend! Eagle River Independence Day Celebration

 Sunday, July 3, 6:30 p.m. to midnight and Monday 2:00 p.m.

Eagle River Lions Club Park and Latimer Fire Station, Chugiak

Start your Independence Day with a bang in Eagle River! The celebration starts Friday at 6:00 p.m. with entertainment, sky-divers, concessions and more. The celebration culminates with fireworks at midnight. Then enjoy the parade Saturday in Chugiak at 2:00 p.m.  For info: CER.org.

Anchorage July 4th Celebration Parade & Festival
