July 11, 2011|By Ashleigh Ebert | Channel 2 News

ANCHORAGE, Alaska — A grand jury has indicted an Anchorage man accused of shooting a woman at a psychiatric living facility for attempted murder.

Michael McEvoy faces five counts including attempted murder in the first degree, one count of assault and three counts of assault in the third degree.

Court documents say McEvoy shot 19-year-old Mozelle Nalan multiple times in the head and neck at the Soteria House on June 30.

McEvoy will be arraigned in Superior Court Wednesday. Nalan remains in critical condition.

Editor's note: This story has been edited to replace missing words in the lead sentence, correct the date of the shooting and state that McEvoy was indicted for attempted murder, not murder.
