Anchorage, Alaska — Mechele Linehan was in court Tuesday, as attorneys in her second murder trial set upcoming court dates.
In a pre-trial conference, Linehan's defense attorney said they were on track for the April 2nd trial date. Judge Phillip Volland also confirmed a motions deadline of November 14th.
Linehan is accused of conspiring to kill her former fiance. She was convicted in the first murder trial in 2007, but an appeals court overturned the conviction, ruling Linehan did not get a fair trial.
A bail hearing is scheduled for Wednesday afternoon.
