The Canvass Board will be opening and counting these on August 1st at 11:00 a.m.
The City Council will certify the results at a special meeting on August 2nd, at 7:00 p.m.
The petition to recall Thompson from her position on the city council was filed in early April after accusations that she embezzled money from the city.
Those who filed the petition claim Thompson took a paycheck while she was out of state.
Thompson, in her ballot statement to voters, said she "inadvertently listed some hours over Thanksgiving when I was out of town, though I was in constant contact via telephone on days the city was open."
