ANCHORAGE, Alaska — Update: APD has announced that Wayne Watson has been found alive and uninjured. No other details were released regarding his whereabouts.
Anchorage police are looking for a 56-year-old man who lived in the Midtown area and was last seen Aug. 11.
Wayne William Watson lived on the 1400 block of Ingra Street, where he also worked as a maintenance man. According to APD, he may have ties to the Kenai Peninsula or the Soldotna area and doesn’t own a vehicle or other mode of transportation.
Friends and family say it’s unusual for Watson to spend such a long time out of contact with them.
Watson stands 6 feet tall and weighs about 170 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
