FAIRBANKS, Alaska — A three-year-old girl from Fairbanks was shot in the chest by her four-year-old brother at 2:00 p.m. Friday, according to Fairbanks police.
The boy’s father was getting ready for a hunting trip, stepped out of the room for a moment and it was during that time that the boy shot his younger sister with a 357.
Police say the girl was flown to Anchorage for treatment.
There has been no word on the girl’s condition.
