Anchorage — At this point it's anyone's guess of what the Permanent Fund Dividend will payout this fall.
Every year Channel 2 makes its own PFD prediction based on numbers supplied by the state and a formula we’ve been perfecting over the years.
Our guess this year is $1,203.45. If that’s correct the checks will be about 80 dollars less than last year.
The number of people applying affects the outcome. How the stock market performs also factors into the size of the payouts.
The governor will announce the official amount next week.
