Two People Injured After Early Morning Shooting

Anchorage Police say two people are seriously injured after an early morning shooting.

Police say a homeowner in Muldoon called them about 12:30 a.m.

The homeowner told police three men were trying to break into his trailer at 705 Muldoon and shots were exchanged with two people being hit.

Police aren’t saying who shot the guns or how many shots were fired.

“Initial indications were there were at least some exchange of gun fire. It looks like there were at least two people injured as a result of the gun fire, but we’re not absolutely certain who did that, but the homeowner engaged them to some extent.” Sgt Gerard Asselin said, “

A.P.D found one of the men who was hit outside the trailer a second man was found at a nearby Tesoro gas station on East 6th Ave. and Muldoon.

The swat team and a K-9 Unit is searching for a third person.
