Digital Journalist/Producer    

KTUU-TV has a full-time opening for a Digital Journalist/Producer.
This position is in charge of breaking news to the web and writing reports for news and television.  Must develop sources, maintain communication with emergency services, and build a morning news beat online and through traditional means.

Essential duties and responsibilities:
    •    Responsible for cultivating news sources for early morning & overnight breaking news.
    •    Responsible for posting first to KTUU.com and social media, then re-scripting for television.
    •    Build photo galleries, organize video content, and oversee KTUU.com during work hours.
    •    Run all social media platforms.
    •    Manage mobile for app-specific morning news and throughout the shift.
    •    Optimize the web site for search engines.
    •    Produce web specific content first and then redo for television.
