ANCHORAGE, Alaska — The Alaska Aces defeated the Ontario Reign 7-4 Sunday evening to claim the series victory 2-1.
After being blanked Saturday, the Aces offense fired up from the get go. At 3:44 in the first period, Dan Kissel found the back of the net. Alaska's second goal would come at 7:04, courtesy of Russ Sinkewich. Aces would finish out the period with two more goals from Ethan Cox and Chris Bruton.
Ontario came back in the third period, with a goal from Geoff Irwin to make the game 5-4. Dan Kissel answered immediately, scoring only 11 seconds later.
The Aces will be on the road the next 3 weeks. Their first series will be against the Idaho Steelheads, starting November 18th.
