November 18, 2011|by Kevin Wells | Channel 2 Sports

ANCHORAGE, Alaska — Tyler Ruegsegger and Dan Kissel each scored two goals in a span of less than four minutes to lead the Aces to a 7-2 victory over the Idaho Steelheads on Friday night in Boise.  Kissel leads Alaska in goals with nine, while Ruegsegger has six for the 10-4-0 Aces.

The scoring spree by the two forwards broke the game open after Idaho had tied the game 2-2 in the second period.  Defensemen Russ Sinkekwich and Bryan Miller gave Alaska an early 2-0 lead on goals in the opening three and a half minutes.

The win was the first of the season on the road for the Aces, who started with 11 of their first 13 games at home.
