GIRDWOOD, Alaska — According to an ASD press release:
Due to hazardous road conditions on the Seward Highway along Turnagain Arm, the following bus routes are canceled today, Nov. 22.
Girdwood School routes 622, 623
Goldenview Middle School route 27
South High School route 621
Students who normally ride those bus routes will be excused today if they are unable to find alteranative means to school. Parents should use their best judgment to determine what's safest for their children. They are encouraged to notify their child's school of their situation.
All schools are open and operating a normal schedule today.
