UAA's Burton A Second Team All-American

ANCHORAGE, Alaska — For only the second time in school history, UAA has placed a member of its volleyball team on either the first or second team All-American list.

Robyn Burton, a 5 foot 11 middle blocker out of Chugiak High School has been voted a second team All-American in Division II.

Burton ranked third in the country with an attack percentage of. 416, easily a single season school record.  The sophomore delivered 12 matches of at least a .500 percentage.  She also led the Great Northwest Athletic Conference in blocks per game for the second straight season. 

Burton's Seawolf teammate, GNAC Player of the Year Jackie Matthisen, was voted an honorable mention choice.
